Capital Urban Market – Pretoria’s newest Praline

Capital Urban Market

Capital Urban Market recently launched their “Special Edition” themed markets at Moyo in Fountains Valley. It’s a delightful little market that mixes fashion, vintage, decor, food and craft brews effortlessly. Everything on offer is made locally.  “Special Edition” is a monthly event, and each one has a theme. November was Movember (see above) and this month was the Summer Edition. It is much smaller than the big brothers in Jozi (Neighbourgoods Market and Arts on Main) but also a lot less crowded. Being outdoors, there is plenty of room and you can also bring your own picnic blanket and camp out.

I’m also hugely excited about the “real” Capital Urban Market, which will be launched 7 December in downtown Pretoria! It’s part of the “Cool Capital” citizen driven initiative to revitalise and restore the inner city. Be sure to visit 381 Church Street and be part of this historic opening of a fashion, craft and food market in the capital! For all the latest, check them out on Facebook.
