In an old industrial building on 36 Buitenkant Street in Cape Town, you will find possibly the coolest cafe in Cape Town. Although, they prefer to call themselves artisan coffee roasters that also serve coffee and food.
Stepping into the big, open space is like being transported to an era gone by. The cafe is vintage through and through, from the furniture to the staff uniforms and right down to the uber cool upstairs office, complete with old cash register and the green lamps! The coffee is made to order, the food is simple and delish and the service is fab. If you want to buy some coffee to take home, or just can’t figure out which roast to select for your cuppa, the roaster himself will be happy to give you a run-down of what is on offer. They also have the coolest coffee bean dispenser I have ever seen!
